We stayed in one of the 10 sea view bungalows (although there is a road between the sea and the bungalows)recently rebuilt and redecorated. They are beautiful, well furnished and have a nice terrace looking over the klong. The hotel is fine, the staff is kind and efficiant, the breakfast is good and has a lot to offer. The only thing which could be improved is the beach, where there are not enough sunbeds and umbrellas (the plastic umbrellas look really poor compared to the hotel standards).

We have just returned from a three week stay in Thailand, our first week was spent at a 5* resort in Krabi and then we stayed our final week at the Klong Prao Resort in Koh Chang. Although the resort was not 5* it was certainly very clean and the rooms were surprisingly large. Myself and my husband stayed in VIP1 which had an amazing view of the beach and the pool. Our children (aged 14 & 16) stayed in VIP 3 which was slightly more modern but, again was very clean and the bathrooms were very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked them to arrange some trips around the island and the drivers were very friendly. Its very, very quiet in the evening and the hotel does not offer any entertainment...fantastic.... We ate out most evenings and only tried the restuarant once. It was OK but, the service was very slow (we received our starters at the end of our main meal). The beach is beautiful and the pool area clean.
